WorkProof
Proof is a way of working, not a page of logos.
This is how Brightproof approaches proof: how we think, how we work, how we measure and what a published case study will always contain.
Note Case studies are published here only when the work is complete, the evidence is genuine and the client has agreed. Until then, this page sets out the standard we hold ourselves to.
01How we think
Growth is a commercial question first.
Before we talk about brand, creative or channels, we want to understand what needs to be true for the business to grow and what is currently in the way. Sometimes the answer is a positioning problem. Sometimes it is a demand problem. Often it is both, and treating them separately is why previous work did not stick.
That is why strategy, creative and performance sit in one team here. The same people who shape the position make the work and are accountable for how it performs.
- Start with the commercial question
- Diagnose before prescribing
- One team, one outcome
02How we work
Five steps, in the open.
Every engagement follows the Brightproof Method: Understand, Position, Create, Activate, Prove. It is not a process for its own sake. It is the order in which decisions need to be made so that later work does not undo earlier work.
You see the thinking as it develops. Briefs are written down, assumptions are stated, and the reasoning behind a recommendation is always available to you.
- Written briefs and stated assumptions
- Decisions explained, not announced
- Regular reviews against the plan
03How we measure
The baseline comes before the work.
We agree what will be measured, how, and against what starting point before creative or media work begins. That includes agreeing how results will be attributed, so nothing is claimed twice and nothing is claimed that the data cannot support.
Reporting is built so you can interrogate it, not just receive it. If a number cannot be explained, it does not go in the report.
- Baseline agreed in writing
- Attribution agreed up front
- Every number can be explained
04How evidence informs decisions
Results change what we do next.
Measurement is only useful if it changes something. We review results against the agreed measures on a fixed rhythm and use them to decide what to keep, what to change and what to stop.
That includes being straightforward when something has not worked. A result that is disappointing but understood is worth more than a result that looks good and cannot be repeated.
- Fixed review rhythm
- Keep, change or stop, based on evidence
- Honest about what did not work
05How future case studies will demonstrate impact
What every Brightproof case study will contain.
We would rather publish nothing than publish something we cannot stand behind. When case studies appear here, each one will meet this standard.
- 01
The brief
What the client needed and why, in their terms.
- 02
The baseline
Where things stood before the work, and how that was measured.
- 03
What we did
The strategy, the creative and the activation, and the reasoning behind each.
- 04
What changed
Results against the agreed measures, over a stated period, with the data source named.
- 05
Who verified it
How the figures were checked and by whom.
- 06
Permission
Published only with the client’s written agreement, recorded by name and date.
Let us prove it with you.
If you would like to be the kind of client whose results we can publish, Brightproof would like to hear from you.
